We had our extended family over for brunch after the service. Katie was walking to the front door to say goodbye to everyone when she slipped on the hardwood floor and split her chin open. Here she is getting stitches in her chin at Instacare.

I just snapped this with my phone outside the DMV, so it's not a great photo, but I wanted to document the nasty inversion haze that descends on us here every January. There are mountains out there at the edge of the valley, but you can barely see them. Gross.
